Leading digital solutions platform Globe is taking a significant step forward in its sustainability journey with Energise 2023, a two-day summit for employees and industry partners that seeks to instill an energy-conscious mindset within the organisation and its value chain.
Energize: The Globe Energy & Power Summit 2023 serves as a cornerstone in enabling a greener future through renewable energy and efficiency. It features discussions and on-ground product demos on green network and building solutions, aiming to educate Globe employees to embrace industry best practices.
Set on October 3-4, the event brings together Globe leaders, employees, industry partners, energy suppliers, and representatives from the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). Participants get the opportunity to delve deep into various knowledge areas related to energy management, renewable sources, the energy industry and market, and energy-efficient innovations.
The summit’s agenda is packed with insightful activities, including a talk on Globe’s Net Zero milestones and its alignment with both national and global sustainability goals. It also offers attendees an experiential walkthrough, showcasing the green network and building solutions that have earned Globe the title of the Most Sustainability Driven Network in the Philippines. Plenary talks cover a wide range of topics, from understanding electricity bills to updates on the power industry and the regulatory environment.

Globe’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its recent accolades. The company has been recognised as the Most Sustainability Driven Network Operator and the company with Best Network Reliability in the Philippines in 2023 by Standard Insights.
The Globe Group’s dedication to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles has also led to its recognition in four categories at the Environmental recent Finance Sustainable Company Awards 2023. These include Energy Efficiency Initiative of the Year in APAC, Net Zero Progression of the Year in APAC, Sustainability Reporting of the Year in APAC, and Large Enterprise of the Year in APAC.
