Regional Climate Change Adaptation Knowledge Platform for Asia (AKP), the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Third Pole Project are organizing a competition for the best media reports on Adaptation to Climate Change.

The winners will be invited to the Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum 2011, which will be held in Bangkok on 27-28 October 2011. The reports can be in any medium, be it print, web, video or audio. They can be in any language, but non-English entries should be accompanied by a written summary in English.

The competition is open to all journalists in the Asia-Pacific region. The entries should have been published or broadcast between 1 September 2010 and 31 August 2011.

The cost of their travel and stay will be borne by the Adaptation Forum 2011 organizers. The initial announcement of the Adaptation Forum 2011, including the provisional agenda, is attached.
