Event Description

With close to 500 million visitors estimated for 2014, the Asia-Pacific region is particularly vulnerable in what is an increasingly water-stressed environment. Limited water availability, ranging issues of water quality, and the potential increases to cost of supply, all highlight key considerations for planning and development within this fast growing tourism region.

On Thursday 20 March 2014, the Asia-Pacific tourism industry will come together with world-leading sustainability expects in Hong Kong (with a live stream in Singapore) to discuss how the industry can adopt a leadership role in addressing water stress and security.
