Taking on that role is former Shell and ComfortDelGro executive Liew Wei Chee.
Liew moves on from Zig, a mobility app run by transfort firm ComfortDelGro.
He will take the reins of a business with five consulting teams, and oversee functions such as client account development, sales, and delivery of ERM’s consulting services. He joins a team led by Thailand-based South and East Asia partner Nat Vanitchyangkul.
ERM has been around since the early seventies, and recently acquired Canadian sustainability advisory firm Stratos. It is one of the world’s largest pureplay sustainability consultancies.
In a LinkedIn post, Liew said that the world needed to go through the biggest transformation since the industrial age, and he wanted to “be part of the solution to shape a sustainable future. This is why I have decided to joined ERM.”
Over his career, Liew spent 25 years working for Anglo-Dutch oil major Shell in a variety of roles, including strategic consultancy and portfolio management. He joined ComfortDelGro in 2019 before shifting to Zig earlier this year.
