The Global Leaders Programme (GLP) is an internationally-recognised executive education programme, rooted in Asia and facilitated by the Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT), which combines intellectual rigor, a beyond-classroom methodology and an output-driven approach to leadership development.
Intense and engaging, the GLP is a platform for professionals to understand the forces of change in today’s business landscape combining both in-classroom learning and direct experience in the field.
During the July 2016 GLP participants will work on a real-world field project to produce a business plan for a successful agricultural cooperative in northeast China. Yunfeng co-op has pioneered natural farming and a direct farm-to-consumer distribution model which addresses concerns around both food safety and environmental degradation in the world’s largest groceries market. Investors are keen to replicate the model elsewhere in China and participants will be challenged to create a business recommendation which Yunfeng can leverage to attract new business partners and scale-up in the coming years.
