Navigating the future of palm oil: SCORE Forum 2026 to showcase strategies for sustainable trade and growth

Bogor, Indonesia, 17 August 2026 – PT Inovasi Digital is launching the Sustainable Commodities & Responsible Engagement Forum (SCORE 2026) to help palm oil companies adapt to fast-evolving trade governance and regulatory standards. The event will be held 16-17 September 2026 at the ASTON Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center in Sentul, Bogor.

The programme will look to address key challenges related to incoming global regulations, which require strict verification of legality, plot-level geolocation, and deforestation-free production. Without reliable sustainability and traceability data, businesses face supply chain exclusion, commercial uncertainty, and financial liabilities.

“The centralised export arrangement involving DSI represents a major transition, and industry stakeholders urgently need clarity on operational mechanics,” said Rauf Prasodjo, Director of Sustainability Solutions at PT Inovasi Digital.

“SCORE 2026 offers direct operational guidance straight from policy drivers and industry experts – unpacking crucial details on exporter roles, payment structures, supply-origin data access, and downstream impacts on Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) pricing.”

These trade shifts coincide with rising buyer expectations and strict market entry standards. Compliance with certification schemes like ISPO and RSPO, along with voluntary commitments and global buyer requirements, relies entirely on robust data spanning supply origins, land-related risks, and grievance resolution mechanisms.

SCORE 2026 bridges the gap between commercial trade and sustainability performance. Participants will gain practical frameworks to integrate trade operations with verified compliance data, streamline reporting, and unlock sustainable finance.

“The core issue is whether the updated export system can preserve the flow of information needed by companies, buyers, and auditors,” added Prasodjo. “If trade data becomes disconnected from supply-chain data, businesses risk commercial disruption. We designed SCORE 2026 as a working platform so participants leave with concrete partnerships and verified pathways to maintain market access.”

Keynote speakers include Luke Mahony, CEO of PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI), who will detail how the palm oil industry can align on traceability, responsible sourcing, and market access ahead of the DSI rollout and incoming international mandates, including the EUDR, CSRD, and CSDDD.

Other speakers include Dr Ir. Musdhalifah Machmud, M.T., Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC), and Joseph D’Cruz, Chief Executive Officer of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The programme also includes speakers from key industry players, including Unilever, Musim Mas, Wilmar International, SD Guthrie, Fuji Oil Group, and Apical Group.

Across both days, SCORE 2026 features executive plenary sessions, interactive workshops, co-designed restoration playbooks, high-profile keynote addresses from across the value chain and structured networking sessions.

Registration is now open for industry stakeholders looking to shape the future of responsible palm oil supply chains.
