Improved water pricing can crowd much-needed investments into the water cycle and facilitate transfers from advanced to developing economies, the bank’s economists told Eco-Business.

As concerns over the environmental impacts of data centres grow, firms including Equinix, AirTrunk and ST Telemedia have backed a new regional initiative aimed at advancing sustainability across the sector.
The loan is focused on investment in top tourist draws like Bohol and Siargao Island, which also suffer from strained water supply, according to the bank’s project brief.
