Created in partnership with Bonsucro, this forum is designed for all stakeholders in the sugar value chain to discuss the commercial opportunities of implementing sustainability and ethical initiatives, and the practicalities of how to do so.
Over the course of the two days, participants of the forum will have the opportunity to discuss the impact of the growing demand for sustainable sugarcane, as well as commercial opportunities for sustainability and ethical initiatives and their practical implementation. The conference will focus on how to address key environmental pressures, such as water scarcity, climate change and loss of biodiversity; as well as social supply chain challenges, including smallholder farmer development, land rights, securing livelihoods, financing and improving productivity.
