• Smokey Mountain Project: A 3,000-ton/day capacity WtE project is planned for Manila to address waste management, flooding, and public health, featuring collaboration from Kanadevia Corp.
• Regulatory Support: The Department of Energy (DOE) encourages WTE through Republic Act No. 9513 (Renewable Energy Act of 2008), supporting processes like anaerobic digestion and gasification.
