Internship (Editorial / Partnerships / ESG Intelligence)

Eco-Business is looking for a dynamic Intern to join our team, with opportunities to contribute across our Editorial, Partnerships, and ESG Intelligence teams. Applicants may indicate their preferred area of focus, while also gaining exposure to work across different departments.

You will be given an opportunity to be exposed to the media and sustainability industry, and learn the ropes of how to work within a dynamic, independent media organisation focused on achieving impact across Asia Pacific.


Key Responsibilities:

1) Editorial and Programmes

  • Writing news and features
  • Covering and attending events related to sustainable development
  • Assist in event programme curation and planning
  • Administrative duties as required by the editorial team


2) Partnerships

  • Assisting in partnership development and implementation
  • Supporting the development of Eco-Business presence and programmes across the Asia Pacific region
  • Supporting the management of contacts and Eco-Business community and database
  • Assisting in the production of Eco-Business collaterals and communication materials
  • Support Eco-Business social media assets and create content across all channels

 
3) ESG Intelligence

  • Support the ESG Intelligence team on consulting, training, and research projects
  • Support the development and delivery of ESG training curriculum materials for Eco-Business’s clients and internal teams
  • Support in analysis work, business development, and insights gathering for client projects in achieving their sustainability goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Eco-Business, such as editorial, partnerships, and marketing, to ensure integration and alignment of ESG intelligence across various platforms and initiatives

 

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Tertiary level student or graduate
  • Understanding of, and passion for sustainability and ESG
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Good eye for detail and accuracy


This internship is open to Malaysian citizens/permanent residents and it runs for a minimum period of three months. There will be a monthly stipend paid to cover basic costs.
