Taejun is an associate editor based in Taipei, Taiwan.
He was previously a journalist with The Financial Times in Hong Kong. He later led AFP’s digital verification team in Seoul and served as English News Editor at Radio Free Asia in Taipei.
He read Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge, specialising in crime and thriller fiction. In 2023, he received the SF Story Award, one of South Korea’s most prestigious prizes in science fiction, and went on to publish his debut work in Korean the following year.
Beyond his editorial work, Taejun is passionate about animal welfare and wildlife conservation and has long supported leading organisations in the region as a donor and volunteer.
