Ecosperity Week 2026 returns to chart Asia’s path to a sustainable 2030

Ecosperity Week 2026 returns to chart Asia’s path to a sustainable 2030

SINGAPORE, 19 MAY 2026 – Ecosperity Week 2026 will convene leaders across government, business, finance and civil society to explore practical, scalable innovations, policies and partnerships that can help translate the region’s 2030 climate ambitions into real-world impact. Organised by Temasek, the 12th edition of the annual conference takes place from 18 to 21 May 2026 in Singapore.

This year’s theme, “Asia’s Race Towards 2030: Powered by Innovation, Driven with Intent”, reflects a dual imperative: to harness breakthrough technologies and solutions while ensuring that progress is inclusive and enduring through a shared commitment among governments, corporates, investors and communities.

Ms Kyung-Ah Park, Chief Sustainability Officer, Temasek, said: “We are at a defining moment. The path to decarbonisation has become more complex amid geopolitical volatility and economic uncertainty — but the direction of travel is clear. Renewables, batteries and clean energy systems are increasingly the economic and resilient choices, and the surge in AI and data centre demand, if responsibly harnessed, can be a powerful catalyst for innovation and scale. Asia has the momentum and ingenuity to lead this shift, but intent must translate into greater action. That is what Ecosperity Week 2026 is about — focusing on what works, what can scale, and how we mobilise partnerships and capital to support the region’s sustainable growth.”

The conference plenaries on 19 and 20 May will take on some of the region’s most pressing and complex challenges, from navigating energy security amid global disruptions to financing credible transition pathways. In-depth dialogues at Ecosperity Week 2026 will also examine how AI can both accelerate climate action and reshape demand for digital infrastructure and what it will take to scale solutions that are both sustainable and bankable.

  • Innovation Day, 19 May: Spotlights practical solutions that help move the needle for Asia in the race towards 2030. From geopolitical and economic pressures to the role of AI to the race for critical minerals, the discussions will focus on breakthrough opportunities for climate action that are practical and commercially viable.

  • FAST Conference, 20 May: Features what it takes to finance and scale the innovation for Asia’s transition. It is critical to ensure that capital moves efficiently into projects and pathways that would have multiplier effect on climate action, bringing into focus innovative financing structures, better risk-sharing, clearer regulations and strong public-private partnerships to mobilise capital for system-wide impact on climate action.

Ecosperity Week 2026 will feature a diverse line-up of global and regional leaders and esteemed speakers, including Mr Teo Chee Hean, Chairman, Temasek Holdings; Dr Agus H. Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development of Indonesia; The Hon.
