Asia, which has seen a 53 per cent jump in firms setting SBTi‑aligned targets and now accounts for over a third of all validated commitments, is expected to benefit as the updated rulebook introduces tailored flexibilities to help companies in Global South markets join, and stay, in the net zero race, according to the organisation.
Brian Ho has left the Singapore casino operator after a year as vice president of sustainability and joined SJM Resorts in Macao in an equivalent role. RWS has replaced Ho with his predecessor Loh Su Kim.
