Shandy (Shanshan) Li

Professor Shanshan (Shandy) Li works at School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. She joined Monash University from March 2017 where she is the Deputy Head of Climate, Air Quality Research (CARE) Unit and the Group Leader of Children’s Environmental Health Research, leading an interdisciplinary research team on human health in the context of global environmental change. She holds a PhD in Public Health (awarded in 2014) from The University of Queensland, a Master of Medical Sciences (awarded in 2010) from Peking University, and a Medical Degree (awarded in 2006) from Capital Medical University in China. Following completion of her PhD, she undertook a two-year postdoctoral training supported by a NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence − Centre for Air quality & health Research and evaluation administered by The University of Sydney.
