Professor Andrew Blakers AO is a professor of engineering at The Australian National University. His primary research interests are in advanced silicon solar cells — increasing efficiency and reducing costs — and detailed analysis of energy systems based on 50 to 100 percent wind and solar photovoltaics supported by storage.
