‘Milestone’ improvement in Southeast Asia’s 2025 air quality, but still short of WHO limit
Progress on reducing PM2.5 air pollution was led by Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia, while the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam recorded declining air quality, a new report showed.
New studies reveal plastic particles infiltrating human bodies, food systems and even the planet’s most remote ecosystems.
The Delhi government, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, recently conducted cloud seeding experiments with the claim of reducing air pollution.
To many locals, the plant is part of Lamma’s eccentric appeal. Yet its four decades of burning coal on the wind-blessed island raise bigger questions about Hong Kong’s commitment to the energy transition.
