Marking ten years since the 2015 Manila Call to Action on Climate change, this year’s gala shines a spotlight on the shared commitment to climate action and ocean protection.
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCIFP) proudly announces this year’s Le French Gala, set to take place this 27 November, 2025 (Thursday), at 6:00 PM, at Shangri-La The Fort, BGC, Taguig City. This highly anticipated annual event brings together leaders from the business, diplomatic and cultural communities to celebrate the enduring friendship between France and the Philippines.
This year’s gala holds special significance as it commemorates a decade of collective action for the planet, tracing back to the 2015 Manila Call to Action on Climate Change – a landmark moment that united Philippine and French leaders in a shared appeal for stronger climate action ahead of COP21 in Paris. That same year, the global community came together to forge the historic Paris Agreement, setting a new course toward sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The evening will be graced by captivating and meaningful performances celebrating the rich heritage and commitment to climate action that both nations proudly share. Guests can look forward to exquisite gastronomy and a curated selection of fine French wines and spirits, in an elegant setting that embodies unity, dialogue and meaningful connection.
One of the evening’s key highlights will also be “Le Trophée Bleu: Sustainability Business Awards,” now celebrating its fourth year in partnership with HAVAS Ortega. This distinguished award continues to honour companies that have shown exceptional leadership in advancing sustainability, recognising initiatives across six (6) categories: People, Planet, Partnership, Peace, Prosperity and Sustainable Excellence for SMEs.
