Elga Reyes

Elga D. Reyes is based in Manila and writes on travel, lifestyle, design and interiors for a range of local and regional publications. She was hopping from one Philippine island to the next as a travel writer when she realised that these places could be better served by focusing on its environmental protection rather than mere promotion. Since then, she has also pursued features on sustainability, energy efficiency, and biodiversity. One of her most memorable assignments was volunteering for a humpback whale research team. She is also a communications consultant at the Asian Development Bank.
