CAN-I is a network of 1,500 civil society members spread across 130 countries, and Singh joins to support the global secretariat and its network on the impacts of climate change and resilience building.
Singh is also strategic advisor, global partnerships to the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative, which is geared towards phasing out fossil fuels and supporting a just transition.
Singh spent more than 18 years of his career with the non-government organisation ActionAid, where latterly he was the global lead on climate change.
He is the co-founder of Satat Sampada, a social enterprise that promotes regenerative agriculture in India.
