Green for Hope project launches first-time partnership with CDCs

CapitaLand’s Green for Hope project announced on Wednesday it is extending its reach with its first-time partnership with Community Development Councils (CDC).

The campaign aims to combine charity and recycling by encouraging people to go “green” and earn donations to benefit underprivileged children.

To mark the collaboration between CapitaLand and the CDCs, a tour for over 90 children was held at ION Orchard on Wednesday.

The tour educated children about eco-friendly issues.

CapitaLand will be partnering with five CDCs to bring the donations from its Green for Hope campaign to more beneficiaries in Singapore.

CapitaLand’s philanthropic arm, CapitaLand Hope Foundation, will donate $2 for every kilogramme of recyclable waste collected from the participating CapitaLand Properties.
