Research and database specialist

Eco-Business is looking for a passionate and motivated Research and Database Specialist to join our growing team.

This role requires the individual to possess an excellent track record in managing, processing and analysing big data sets, as well as impeccable research skills to mine contacts and any types of required data. You will be responsible for ensuring the data integrity of new and existing data on our database systems. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to audit, refine and resolve all data issues, and support the wider team on projects.

You must have a keen interest in sustainable development and how it relates to the business world. This interest will be required to research on industry thought leaders, create and upload relevant details into our CRM database, as well as update contact info when new information is available. You will be working in a hybrid environment, and deliver excellent work to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regular maintenance of all database systems
  • Extracting, processing and analyzing data sets
  • Research for contacts and information via relevant platforms to support the team’s project objectives
  • Segment audiences in databases according to campaign requirements
  • Supporting the team in project delivery where required

Required experience (to be discussed in detail at interview):

  • A university degree in Business, English, Communication Studies or any other relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in working on databases
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge with CRM systems and experience in data analytics is preferred
  • A good understanding of sustainable development matters in Asia
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills
  • Meticulous with accuracy and detail, able to spot the smallest of data discrepancies
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and numerical skills
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the willingness to contribute to the success of a dynamic organisation
  • Passion for and knowledge of the Eco-Business brand
