Climate Conversations seeks to massively grow the number of people engaged and active on climate change.
We know that climate change is extremely urgent and the window to act responsibly for our future is getting smaller. The most important solutions to climate change have one thing in common: they need widespread, unshifting, vocal support.
We’re seeking a passionate person that wants to understand how community engagement works and to make a positive difference to help us in coordinating key programs to build a society that acts with responsibility towards our future and our environment.
You work would include assisting with engaging campus environmental groups and organising collective activities.
Through the role, you would develop skills
- Building relationships
- Communications practices
- Applying theories of behaviour change and creating movements
Your role may include
- Crafting written communications
- Coordinating with other environmental groups and our volunteers
- Identifying opportunities to improve engagement among our volunteers and making suggestions to management as to how to increase engagement
