As part of the Consultancy & Services team, you will support the delivery of high quality consultancy advice on sustainability solutions to the corporate and public sectors. As a Junior Consultant, you will also support in the development of proposals. This is a fast growing and dynamic business area with global market potential. Tasks and responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of mandates for international clients, with a particular focus on North America
  • Interact with and build relationships with clients; manage the delivery of corporate consulting mandates on sustainability advisory
  • Conduct independent research on sustainability-related topics
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data; summarise complex topics and findings for non-technical audiences
  • Support the development of proposals with the responsible US-based key account managers and senior consulting staff where required
  • Topics of engagement may include: GHG accounting and disclosure, climate change mitigation, Science Based Targets (SBTs), risk assessment and TCFD, materiality assessment, energy efficiency, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)


Your profile

  • University degree, ideally in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Economics, or sustainability-related disciplines
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the corporate sector at least partly in corporate consulting
  • Ability to conduct research tasks, analyse, and summarise data to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to create high quality written documents (proposals and deliverables) in English with limited guidance
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Diligent, reliable, and proactive and self-sufficient but collaborative approach to work
  • Intellectual curiosity, eager to learn, and passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change issues
