We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an editorial and marketing intern. You will be given an opportunity to be exposed to the media and sustainability industry and learn the ropes of how to work within a dynamic, independent media organisation focused on achieving impact across Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities include:
The work will be varied and will include the following types of tasks:
- Writing news and features
- Covering and attending events related to sustainable development
- Administrative duties as needed by editorial or marketing team
- Compiling and posting content onto company social media accounts
- Developing social media strategy and calendar
- Research and data compilation in preparation for online campaigns
- Marketing campaign analysis
- Site content management
- Coordination of special projects - eg photography competition, surveys
- Assist with design & creation of marketing collaterals
You will be analysing and optimising the demographic of our readership/clientele using Google Analytics or other statistical tools you see fit and propose improvements at the end of your time with us.
Sustainability and conservation are highly intertwined. Apart from writing pieces like this in support of conservation entrepreneurs and the nature-based sector, advocating for more sustainable practices and green technologies in the corporate sector will have large-scale impacts on protecting our ecosystems and biodiversity.
