Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) is seeking an Assistant Manager in our Corporate Governance team. The ideal candidate is a meticulous self-starter joining a dynamic unit.


  • Handle full set of accounts
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and forecasting reports
  • Prepare annual budgets in consultation with the Executive Director
  • Liaise closely with external auditors and relevant local authorities to ensure the organisation’s finance and accounting practices comply and meet relevant requirements
  • Liaise closely with external auditors on the annual audit
  • Oversee donor administration, including processing of donations, issuing tax-deductible receipts and prepare necessary submission of donor information to IRAS
  • Oversee grant application tracking and support grant application processess
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
  • Handle statutory submissions to authorities
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Deputy Executive Director


  • At least a Diploma in Accountancy/Accounting or ACCA
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience. Outstanding fresh graduates with suitable internship experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of requirements by Charities and IPC regulations would be an advantage
  • Believe in the importance of responsible business practices and corporate sustainability
  • Have a positive work ethic and determination in getting things done within tight deadlines
  • Accept that OT is necessary at times
  • Goal-oriented with a mature disposition to take ownership of projects and targets assigned
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate initiative and common sense
  • Able to work within a small team dynamic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
