Cory Firestone Weiss is Climate Finance Senior Associate with WRI’s Sustainable Finance Center focusing on mobilizing international climate finance. Prior to joining WRI, Cory was a sustainability consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she advised global financial and industrial sector clients on their sustainability strategies. At PwC, Cory supported global Equator Principles signatories on their climate and energy strategies as well as their environmental and social risk management (ESRM) policies. She joined PwC through the acquisition of Sustainable Finance Limited, prior to which she served as an international policy analyst at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. At Ex-Im Bank she worked on OECD negotiations governing export credit agency finance (ECA), including environmental and social guidelines for ECAs.
Cory holds a Masters in International Relations from the University of California at San Diego as well as a BA from Williams College in Political Science and Asian Studies.
Cory lives in Falls Church, VA with her husband Martin and their two very active little boys.
