Yingli Green Energy extends its FC Bayern Munchen YouthCup sponsorship

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) (“Yingli Green Energy” or the “Company”), one of the world’s leading solar panel manufacturers, known as “Yingli Solar,” announced today that the Company has extended its sponsorship of the FC Bayern Munich Youth Cup (“Youth Cup”) to Thailand for the second year in a row.

The Youth Cup is an international charity youth football competition that brings together teams of athletes from around the world to compete at the Allianz Arena in Munich, the home of FC Bayern Munich (“FC Bayern”), one of the world’s most successful football clubs. To build its Southeast Asia Youth Cup team in Thailand, Yingli joined forces with the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) to select ten highly skilled youth athletes. The Youth Cup is organized by FC Bayern in cooperation with its sponsors, which include Yingli, Lufthansa, Audi, Adidas, Unicredit, Allianz, Coca Cola and Bundesliga.
