Taiwan manufacturers present green electronics solutions at CEATEC

The Green Trade Project Office under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs is set to stage its fourth exhibition event for the 2014 Green Light campaign at the CEATEC JAPAN exhibition, scheduled to be held on October 07-11 at the Makuhari Messe exhibition complex.

A ‘Taiwan Green Electronics Pavilion’ is set up for the event in the ‘Key Technologies Stage’ zone (Hall 5, Booth 5K112), presenting the latest energy-saving innovations offered by Taiwanese companies.

Li-Yen Ma, Division Chief of the Integrated Marketing Division at the Green Trade Project Office, said, ‘Improving energy efficiency and saving energy have been the focuses of technology innovations against the climate change challenge. The goals have become even more imperative now in view of the 2011 Fukushima accident. In the Taiwan Green Electronics Pavilion, we will present the results of Taiwan manufacturers’ continued dedication to the development of energy-saving products. We believe visitors will be able to find the most suitable products for them among the various solutions on display.’

Exhibitors at the ‘Taiwan Green Electronics Pavilion’ include LED chip and component maker Genesis Photonics; LED lighting solution providers Ever Power Lighting Equipment, Ukin Technology, Just Power Integrated Technology and Sun Lumintech; leading power supply manufacturer Mean Well Enterprises as well as Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable Co..

A variety of award-winning LED lighting products are also showcased at the ‘Taiwan Green Electronics Pavilion’. The LED Bulb offered by Taiwan’s leading LED maker Everlight Electronics has won the Taiwan Green Classics Award. The company’s dimmable Wing-Fun Desk Lamp has been recognized by the Taiwan Excellence Award.

‘BE Light’ from QisDesign, a double winner of the 2013 Taiwan Green Classics Award and iF Product Award, features a special hinge design, which allows the table light to be folded down flat when not in use. Created with exquisite curvy silhouette, QisDesign’s ‘Flamenca’ draws inspiration from the movement of flamenco dancers. The ‘Wish Lamp’ from COCOKASA Lighting is waterproof, ideal for indoor and outdoor use.

The portable ‘LED Lamp – Angel’ by Home Resource Industrial, a winner of the Red Dot Design Award, can be easily switched on by a simple touch.

The CEATEC JAPAN 2014 Exhibition is set to be held on October 07-11 at Makuhari Messe. The ‘Taiwan Green Electronics Pavilion’ is located at Hall 5, Booth 5K112.
