3rd March 2014, Vancouver: Fleming Gulf Conferences announced its 3rd Annual Global Sustainable Mining Summit, to be held on 25-26 May 2013 in Vancouver – Canada.
The ever rising demand for mined resources coupled with the need to conduct business in a sustainable manner has put tremendous pressure on the mining industry.
Mining companies are aiming to leverage their sustainability practices into core business strategy by actively involving stakeholders and managing their risks, undertaking initiatives for local community development and adopting best practices for environment management and water conservation.
The one-of-its kind event will present a 360 degree view on the current sustainability concerns in mining and gather thought leaders for 2 days of knowledge sharing and networking.
