1. Ethisphere World’s Most Ethical Companies
The Ethisphere Institute, an international think-tank based in the United States dedicated to business ethics and corporate social responsibility, each year performs research as part of its effort to share best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability. Each year Ethisphere selects companies that actively incorporated ethics into business practices in an ever-changing global regulatory environment among companies nominated from more than 100 countries and 36 industries. This year marks the sixth such selection.
In 2012, a total of 145 companies were selected to be honored as the World’s Most Ethical Companies based on an evaluation of their guidelines on business ethics, history of litigation or regulatory violations, investments in innovation and sustainable business practices, activities as a corporate citizen as well as analysis from senior executives, industry peers, suppliers and customers.
