Rosatom’s Atomenergomash 2015 portfolio up by 1.7 times to US$5.8b

Rosatom Corporation today said that the portfolio of orders of JSC Atomenergomash, the company’s machine building division, reached US$5.8 billion by the end of 2015, an increase of 1.7 times over 2014.

The General Director of Atomenergomash Andrey Nikipelov pointed out, that growth was achieved both through new orders in nuclear power industry and in its adjacent sectors.

“We continue to develop our competencies as integrated supplier of equipment for reactors and turbine islands for nuclear power plants, as well as the turbine hall auxiliary equipment. Line of products for shipbuilding was expanded. Over the past year the portfolio of orders in the thermal energy sector doubled, increased more than three times in the petrochemical. We have won several major contracts on the production of equipment for the new thermal power plants in Russia,” he said.

The company added that it concluded a service contract with Kazakh energy company to deliver column equipment for three refineries of Gazprom Neft.

Atomenergomash (AEM) is a machine building division of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. The company manufactures basic equipment for nuclear and thermal power plants, shipbuilding, gas and petrochemical industries.

It comprises 30 power machine building enterprises, including engineering, manufacturing and construction and mounting organizations. The production facilities of the company are located in Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Hungary.
