Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Group Executive Chairman Mr. A.M. Naik along with members of the Executive Management Committee released the Company’s 8th Corporate Sustainability Report in Mumbai on 2nd December 2015.
The cover page of the 2015 report features the Warli paintings signifying the harmony and balance of the universe. We at L&T believe Sustainability is an expression of harmony in business life thus the use of the design theme- In Harmony.
L&T was the first Indian company in the engineering & construction sector to publicly disclose its sustainability performance.
This Report has received the latest GRI G4 ‘in accordance- comprehensive’ rating, indicating the highest level of disclosure accorded by Global Reporting Initiative, the world’s most respected body in the field of sustainability reporting. This report is also externally ‘Assured’ (Sustainability term for audit) by Ernst & Young for complete integrity of data.
