ISH China & CIHE: Exhibitors eagerly reserve booths for the building water supply and drainage section

Asia’s largest HVAC, plumbing and sanitation exhibition, ISH China & CIHE – the China International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning, organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Beijing B&D Tiger Exhibition Co Ltd, will take place from 13 – 15 May 2014 at Beijing’s New China International Exhibition Center.

The three-day event expects to welcome over 950 exhibitors, covering more than 85,000 sqm of exhibition space across six halls. The fair also anticipates over 40,000 professional visitors from across the world while introducing the latest innovations and practical solutions in HVAC, plumbing and sanitation technologies.

The launch of the building water supply and drainage section has drawn both popularity and anticipation amongst leading industry enterprises and professionals to the Beijing show.

Returning exhibitors from in and out of China have all already confirmed their place to display their state-of-the-art products, including Aqua-sic (Germany), Georg Fischer (Switzerland), Grundfos (Denmark), Huitong (China), Itron (USA), John Guest (UK), SFA (France), TECE (Germany), Wavin (The Netherlands) and Wilo (Germany).

Also, to take advantage of this specialised section, many leading global brands have signed up for ISH China & CIHE, hoping to tap into China’s structural, water supplies as well as drainage markets. These companies include SK Golden-Tide (China), Rehau (Germany), Plumbfast (Korea), Jinsu (China), Mayer (Taiwan Region), Cycon (China) and Jingyuan (China).

Stronger line-up of German and Italian pavilions

Supported by their governmental authorities and industry associations, the German and Italian Pavilions will show up with stronger scale. The increasing popularity of ISH China & CIHE has led the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology to encourage local enterprises to take part in the 2014 show to display the country’s advancements in HVAC technology to the Chinese market. This year, the German Pavilion will be comprised of 10 prestigious companies, some of whom include: SIEGENIA, Jürgen Schlösser and Hedda.

Furthermore, with Italy’s HVAC market reaching maturity, Italian firms have recently made greater efforts to expand their business into emerging markets for individual heating technology such as China. With support from the Italian Trade Commission (ICE), some of the Italian Pavilion companies at the Beijing show will include: General Fittings, Polidoro, Officine Rigamonti and COES.

Ms Jo Dai, Marketing Manager and China’s branch representative for FRANKISCHE from the German Pavilion expressed: “ISH China & CIHE is an excellent promotional platform. Participating in the show will enhance our corporate image and aid us in acquiring quality business leads. This year, we will introduce our new profi-air intelligent domestic ventilation system. With this product, we hope to showcase our company’s technological advancements to the prospects at the show.”

2014 fair offers a more insightful line-up of fringe events with broader discussion topics

Continuing the Sino European HVAC Congress’ popularity at the 2013 edition, the congress organisers have further enhanced discussion topics by collaborating with both Chinese and international industry associations to better reflect the industry’s most current issues and breakthroughs. The congress has been divided into five sessions, focusing on the areas of central heating, individual heating, heat pump technology, international floor-heating and international air-conditioning.

Additionally, the organiser has partnered with China District Heating Association (CDHA), Federal Industrial Association of Germany House, Energy and Environmental Technology (BDH) and Association of Air Conditioning and Ventilation in Buildings (FGK) to launch three innovative HVAC technology display zones. These display zones will showcase Europe’s latest HVAC technologies as well as key HVAC energy-saving projects in Northern China.

Due to the popularity and anticipation for the newly-established Building Water Supply and Drainage section at the 2014 show, Messe Frankfurt has also teamed up with the Architectural Society of China Water Supply and Wastewater Association to organise the first-ever International Building Plumbing Congress at ISH China & CIHE. The theme of the Congress will be “An analysis on the development and market trends of the building plumbing industry in China, as well as the exchange of international cutting-edge plumbing technology and products” .
