IFEMA exports its MATELEC fair to China

The agreement between IFEMA and Shanghai CHC Exhibition to hold MATELEC EIBT CHINA 2013 will bring the Spanish electrical industry to the East Asian market to create new commercial alliances.

With this project, MATELEC is positioned as a global brand among fairs for electrical and electronics technology and solutions

MATELEC, the International Salon of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronics Industry, which is organised by IFEMA, will bring the East Asian market and Spanish companies together after its agreement with Shanghai CHC Exhibition to hold MATELEC EIBT CHINA 2013 “Electrical & Intelligent Building Technology” from 27 to 29 March 2013. This new step forward in the internationalisation of IFEMA seeks to create new commercial alliances and synergies and facilitate the participation of Spanish companies in the Chinese market, and to attract visitors, buyers and importers for its exhibitors in Spain. This project will contribute to positioning MATELEC internationally as a leading global brand in the sector of trade fairs relating to technology solutions in the electrical and electronics industries, and as a forum specialising in major commercial opportunities.

With this agreement between IFEMA, Shanghai Electrical Design & Research Association and Shanghai CHC Exhibition, MATELEC’s sphere of influence now extends to the East Asian market. The latter is of great importance and potential in terms of consumers, urban development, large building projects and civil engineering and represents a gigantic platform for attracting international visitors and business prospects.

The 30 years of prestige which the MATELEC brand enjoys worldwide and the 12 years of professionalism and experience of CHC Expo will make MATELEC EIBT CHINA the top international trade fair. For the first time, it will bring together in a single event in China the electrical and electronics industry and the smart building sector, combining resources nationally and internationally. This alliance has been welcomed enthusiastically by the Asian market, which expects to see more than 12,000 sqm floor space and more than 10,000 buyers from China and the rest of the world.
