Danfoss is using all options within the legal system to fight counterfeits – from collecting intelligence from internal and external sources to sending warning letters and filing criminal and civil suits. Usually fake products are uncovered during regular street raids in big cities together with local police authorities.
In addition to this, Danfoss never misses a chance to focus on the dangers of counterfeited products – at trade fairs and at authorised wholesalers. An Asian partner campaign has recently been launched to inform about dangers and annoyances related to fake Danfoss products and to involve wholesalers and end-users in the fight against counterfeits – e.g. through outlet kits and anonymous report forms.
It pays to avoid unreliable counterfeits
All Danfoss products are built on an impressive platform of knowhow and experience. The materials used and the technologies applied are of the highest quality – which is why Danfoss products come with a multitude of international approvals.
Counterfeits, on the other hand, are unreliable and likely to have a number of shortcomings.
