EcoGeneration introduce Clean Energy Seminar series to their growing line of events

Ecogeneration, the Clean Energy magazine published by Great Southern Press who are also renowned  for the EcoGen Conference and Exhibition, introduces the EcoGeneration Clean Energy Seminar Series to their growing portfolio of industry events.

Managing Editor and Conference Convenor of Ecogeneration Lucy Rochlin states, “This is a critical time for the clean energy industry. More than ever, established players and new entrants alike are seeking high-quality information and access to influential leaders in the industry. These seminars provide that opportunity.”

The first of the Seminar Series, titled ‘Carbon Pricing and the Clean Energy Future Plan’, will provide exclusive insights into the Federal Governments Clean Energy Future Plan and its associated carbon pricing mechanism.

Leaders and experts in carbon pricing policy will instruct delegates on how to make the most of opportunities presented by the pricing mechanism, emissions trading and clean energy funding, including analysis of new financing models, how to leverage public and private investment, and interaction with international carbon markets.

“These seminars have an excellent line-up of high-level industry leaders who will be sharing their insights. Our program draws on years of experience in the clean energy industry publishing EcoGeneration magazine, and convening the annual EcoGen Conference,” says Ms Rochlin.

The EcoGeneration Seminar Series will continue throughout 2012 in major capital cities including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. Topics will be determined by the unfolding clean energy landscape in the lead up to the implementation of the carbon pricing mechanism.

The Clean Energy Seminar will also offer delegates beneficial networking opportunities with highly regarded industry associates.

“These seminars also offer the vibrant atmosphere that is now synonymous with EcoGen events, with high level networking functions attended by the who’s who of the clean energy industry,” says Ms Rochlin.
