Build21 launching at IoT Asia 2018

Build21 is launching at IoT Asia on March 21-22, 2018 to become Southeast Asia’s first end-to-end smart building solutions group.

Comprising of Aecus Asia Consulting, Ampotech and Tanand Technology; these companies are leveraging their expertise to offer end-to-end capabilities from validating solutions, to selecting the right combination of sensors and platform, to integrating with systems and processes.

“Getting well designed solutions at the right ROI is complex,” said Ms. Aileen Neoh, Aecus’ Founding Partner. “Having these solutions blend with existing systems and processes adds to the complexity. Our background in the build environment is a key strength to helping our clients overcome these challenges. The group operates like a robust think-tank and have developed some really innovative solutions, which has exceeded our expectations since we started this journey.”

Mr. Tan Kah Wooi, CEO of Tanand Technology, said: “Tanand’s experience in IoT deployment and our proven cloud-based platform gives clients the assurance of reliability and performance. We believe any building can be smart regardless of size and age, and IoT is a good enabler. Being brand agnostic allows us to be a one-stop shop and customise according to client and building needs.”

Build21 is the result of three passionate innovators meeting at IoT Asia in 2017. They realised that each shared similar problems and the answer lay in the three companies coming together. Build21 was conceived very quickly and will be launching their solutions at IoT Asia 2018.

Mr. William Temple, CEO of Ampotech, said “Ampotech is excited to be a founding member. We see a significant unmet market need for integrated smart building solutions that are easy to deploy. And we believe through this partnership, we will mutually create new opportunities that will help to enhance each of our solutions and services.”

To date, the group is already working on several key retail projects and are in the midst of preparing for a smart hotel project. They are currently in talks with other partners to bring different layers of innovation and further develop its offerings.
