ALLCOT encourages carbon market stakeholders to participate in Latin American Carbon Forum 2015

ALLCOT encourages all carbon market stakeholders to participate in the ninth Latin American and Caribbean Carbon Forum (LACCF), a free of charge regional conference and exhibition platform established in 2006 to promote knowledge and information sharing while facilitating business opportunity environments among main carbon market stakeholders.

Building on the success of eight previous editions, the 2015 Latin American & Caribbean Carbon Forum (LACCF) will be held from 09-11 September, in Santiago de Chile, Chile.

This annual Conference and Exhibition is jointly organized by the World Bank, the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE), the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the UNEP DTU Partnership, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America.

With over 800 local, regional and international participants from private, public and the financial sectors and this unique mix of co-organizers, the LACCF is the pre-eminent regional ‘Pulse Taking’ and ‘Business to Business’ platform. It brings together leading individuals and organizations in the field to share knowledge and information, discuss new tendencies, propose solutions, and identify business opportunities in a rapidly changing area towards low carbon economies and societies.

“With COP21 just around the corner, participating in the ninth Latin American and Caribbean Carbon Forum is a great opportunity for all companies involved in the GHG, Carbon Markets and the Climate Change Mitigation arenas. ALLCOT encourages all direct and indirect market participants and institutions to participate in this event. The LACCF promotes discussion and an exchange of experiences amongst all stakeholders, and provides the latest developments regarding emissions trading schemes, low emissions advances and the future of the carbon markets in a key geographical region”, says Alexis Leroy, CEO of ALLCOT.
