The Company

Our client is a well-established industrial organisation which is currently undergoing re-organisation prior to expansion in the renewable energy sector.

Another one is for a shared services in Makati area, to handle and provide HR OD services to this affiliate companies. Also for Northern Mindanao as HR BP.

The Role

The Training and OD Specialist will be expected to assist the HR Manager in carrying out the different HR functions. This position is also responsible for partnering with people managers and corporate stakeholders on:

  • The development of best practices related to performance management, training, succession planning, and organization development
  • Individual assessment, coaching, and development planning
  • Training development and delivery
  • Team/group effectiveness problem solving and facilitation
  • Participation in a diverse group of projects


  • Consults and partners with line managers to develop and implement meaningful talent development programs
  • Employs training needs assessment tools and information as a source of planning and prioritizing course offerings
  • Identifies ways to utilize technology to improve training and efficiently deliver content around the organization

Organization Development

  • Coordinates with the line management and other stakeholders in addressing and improving organizational effectiveness
  • Identifies, designs, and facilitates the implementation of appropriate OD interventions and projects based on assessment results
  • Stays abreast of organization development best practices and research
  • Helps to identify, define, and build individual and organizational competencies for success in functional roles throughout the company
  • Provides direct support to the HR Manager in the execution of HR programs, initiatives and best practices
  • Talent Management. Assists the HR Manager in developing, maintaining, and driving succession planning best practices
  • Utilizes competency-based tools to assist the processes of hiring, assessment, and development of employees
  • Assists with talent development planning such as talent reviews and individual development planning and coaching
