UNAA Business and Human Rights Workshop: Introduction to the UN Guiding Principles

The United Nations Association of Australia (Victorian Division) is holding its first Business and Human Rights Workshop for 2014, entitled Business and Human Rights: Introduction to the UN Guiding Principles, on Monday 17 March 2014 in Melbourne.

Facilitated by Shelley Marshall, Co-Founder of Corporate Accountability Research and Senior Lecturer in Business Law and Taxation at Monash University, this workshop seeks to introduce what human rights are and how they relate to business, as well as provide an introduction to and overview of the UN Guiding Principles - the global standard of practice on business and human rights.
