Industry Elites Gathered Together, Searching Sore Spots and Rigid Demand of Energy Storage Industry
Abstract: The Energy Storage Applications and Technology Development Forum will be held in Beijing, China on 17-18 September, 2015. It is organized by China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID Group) which is afflicted to MIIT and China Polaris Consulting Co.,Ltd.
Over the past three decades, China has experienced a booming development in economy by paying a lot, in this case, changing the current structure of energy-consuming becomes more and more urgent. Speeding up the adjustment of energy structure &boosting clean energy supply has been two national strategic issues. As a key supporting &driving force, energy storage holds a broad application prospect in many different fields, such as traditional power generation, transmission and distribution, energy demand side, auxiliary services, new energy access, etc.
Several Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Further Deepening the Reform of the Electric Power System, holding a very positive attitude toward “distributed energy” and “advanced energy storage technology”, and expanded the definition of them.
The potential market for energy storage industry would be over hundred billions with the driving force from terminal applications demand, growing economical efficiency& strong support of government.
Currently the high cost of technology, the exploration of business model and the measure of its economical efficiency are the main three problems in the way of ES industrialization, since it still stays at the early stage in China.
Given the successful experiences in battery and new energy vehicle industries, with more than 2,000 senior leaders from more than 20 countries around the world, The Energy Storage Applications and Technology Development Forum will be held in Beijing on 17-18 September 2015.
The forum would mainly focus on terminal application requirements &technological development breakthroughs, according to the national energy strategies.NDRC, National Energy Administration, Financial Ministry, MIIT, National Electricity Grid construction companies, new energy generation operators, TSO & DSO, experts, academicians, business leaders would be invited and have professional speeches. Meanwhile, many leading companies in this industry would exhibit products and their technological achievements in this forum.
