Symposium on Futures Sustainability 2017

The Symposium of Futures Sustainability (SFS), previously known as Symposium of Singapore’s Futures Sustainability (SFSS), provides a platform to engage in a dialogue about environmental issues. SFS is organised by students from the Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) programme at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

This year, with support from the Rotary Club of Suntec City, Singapore (RCSC), SFS2017 will tackle the subject of Circular Economy as an attractive solution to our resource problems and world sustainability. Circular Economy involves establishing a closed-loop chain, unlike the traditional economy. Through a panel discussion with distinguished speakers, we aim to garner support for the shift towards a circular economy for a more sustainable future.

SFS2017 will take place on 25 March 2017 (Saturday) at UTown Auditorium 1 in the National University of Singapore (NUS) from 10 am to 12 pm.

Feel free to email us at sfss.bes@gmail.com for any enquiries. Finally, do remember to sign-up at http://tinyurl.com/sfs2017-register [Registration closes on 17 March 2017].
