To ensure environmental sustainability and prevent further depletion of earth’s resources, society needs to shift away from linear economy model towards resource efficiency and circular economy that designs out waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to playing a part for the environment, companies could also tap on the opportunities ahead and reap commercial value through the process.
