This training course will introduce the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) fourth iteration of the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, the G4, launched in May 2013. It will help practitioners in Asia understand the new framework, its rationale and the implications for both experienced reporters planning the transition from G3 or G3.1 as well as new reporters planning to start reporting with G4. The training will include a detailed overview of the framework, aspects of continuity as well as significant changes and new elements. It will help practitioners at various stages of their reporting journey gain practical skills for its implementation.
Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm (Time Zone: GMT +8)
- What are the new demands in G4?
- What new indicators will we have to report on?
- How do we assess materiality?
- How do we include our value chain in the reporting process?
Special note: The real time online training allows participants to access the training audio using either Voice over IP (VoIP) or toll-based phone numbers. Participants wishing to connect to audio using VoIP will need a fast Internet connection (384 kbps or better), a microphone and speakers (a USB headset is recommended). Participants who choose to use the toll-based numbers will be charged their standard long-distance rate to United Kingdoms, Australia or the United States.
