The Asia-Pacic offshore wind market is developing rapidly, especially in Taiwan, where Taiwan’s New Offshore Demonstration and other larger sites are generating a lot of international interests.
In order to achieve Taiwan’s plan to boost total wind output to 4.2GW by 2030, we are organizing the Offshore Wind Development Summit 2012 to exchange common experiences and challenges faced by European and Asian wind farm operators and developers and through this, generate deeper insights into policy, designs, construction and supply chain management that will be key to ensuring the successful, cost-effective completion of offshore wind farms.
The conference will serve as a perfect platform for facilitating essential discussions amongst power producers, financer, engineer, project developers, investors, researchers and regulatory agencies of the industry to help speed the development of offshore wind projects.
