Sustainability is the challenge of the 21st century. Public and private organizations all over the world are unveiling plans to tackle climate change, transforming constraints into business opportunities, reinventing their organisations and business solutions.
Our keynote speaker, Peter White, is the COO of the World Business Council for Sustainable investment [WBCSD]. WBCSD is a global, CEO-led organization of over 200 leading businesses working together to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world targeting sustainable impact, value for companies and efficiency for their businesses.
His presentation will then be followed by both corporate, Pascal de Petrini - VP Cycles and Operations at Danone, and academics, Jasjit Singh - Academic Director at INSEAD Social Impact Initiatives, who will share their own innovative views and actions.
This Talk also sees the successful conclusion of the Sustainable Investment and Best Practices Project piloted by the French Chamber Sustainability Committee. Gathering 12 companies committed to CSR and sustainability, the project facilitated sharing of best practices among companies and with Singapore governmental agencies.
