UAE on Financing Energy Efficient Projects
Emirates Green Building Council is hosting its 2nd Focus day for the year 2013, which will lay an emphasis on exploring the financing schemes & mechanisms for the Energy Efficient Projects in UAE. Given the current attention in the UAE to this topic, the event will serve as a platform to discuss the financial opportunities, financing options, Energy Performance Contracting, and best practices.
Eminent speakers from UAE authorities and organizations such as Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence, Etihad Energy Service Company, Regulatory & Supervisory Bureau, Energy Management Systems and Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry will discuss the ‘Why’ and ‘How’ of financing opportunities in the UAE. Through panel discussions and case studies presented, implementation as well as challenges will be discussed that can provide insight on the importance and practical course of action to undertake for Energy Efficient Projects.
