Eco Action Day is a national public awareness campaign organized by Ricoh since 2007 in partnership with key NGO, government and private sector partners in Singapore each year.
It is held on World Environment Day (WED), which is celebrated on June 5 by the United Nations Environment Programme to raise global awareness on the need to take positive action for the environment.
This June, Eco Action Day returns with a new theme “Green the Red dot“ that is closely aligned to the UNEP’s theme for World Environment Day, which this year is Small Islands Developing States. The campaign is registered on the UNEP’s WED site and has the support of UNEP.
Green-ing the Red dot calls both organisations, offices and institutes, and individuals to do their part as Singapore, the little Red dot, for the environment.
