Corporate Governance, Fair Operating Practices and Government Relations

Good corporate governance is at the heart of corporate social responsibility. This module will examine key corporate governance challenges in the region including the power of majority shareholders and challenges associated with bribery and corruption. It will examine the role of governments and intergovernmental organizations in CSR.

The course will help participants to:

  • Understand the importance of governance in underpinning corporate social responsibility strategies
  • Recognise the key elements of good governance and links to stakeholder engagement
  • Engage with anti-corruption strategies

The course costs 54.000 THB (approx. 1750 USD) and includes all meals.

This course is part of the Professional Masters Programme in CSR jointly delivered by the Asian Institute of Technology and CSR Asia. Participants can take this course as a stand-alone course and earn credits that can subsequently count towards the Professional Master’s Degree in CSR.
