Community Investment and Development Course

Course Overview:

Businesses have both positive and negative impacts on the communities close to their operations and in the communities that they serve. Increasingly they are expected to engage communities and ensure that their interests are taken into account. The module stresses the need for a strategic approach to community investment, with an emphasis on measuring impacts and addressing community concerns through stakeholder engagement.

The course will help participants to:

  • Understand the role of the private sector in contributing to development
  • Plan business strategies associated with community investment activities and strategic philanthropy
  • Deliver relevant, effective community based social investments
The course costs 54.000 THB (approx. 1750 USD).
Participants can take this course as a stand-alone course and earn credits that can subsequently count towards the Professional Master’s Degree in CSR.
